Position DetailsPosition:
Certified Nursing Assistant – Medication Technician (CNA‑M)
Location:
Glenridge, Augusta (Maine)
Schedule:
Part‑time – 32 hours per week
Shift: Evenings (2p.m. – 10p.m.)
Job Exempt:
No
Base pay:
Competitive, with up to an additional $7 per hour for select shifts.
Sign‑on bonus: $7,500 potential for experienced CNA‑Ms.
Eligibility for bonus:
• One year of CNA‑M experience.
• At least 30hours per week position.
• Current Maine General employees are ineligible; former employees must have more than 1year separation before eligible.
- Perform basic patient care activities within the scope of practice.
- Report abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
- Assist patients with meeting their emotional, physical, and spiritual needs.
- Distribute medications to residents per physician orders and complete required documentation.
- Assist with keeping unit and patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly.
- An active CNA certificate in good standing on the State of Maine CNA Registry.
- Certification from an accredited Medication Technician Program (CMT).
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- 12 hours of relevant continuing education required annually to maintain CNA registration.
