Job Title

Job Summary

We are seeking a Locum CRNA to join our client’s team in Northern Maine. This contract role offers a stable schedule with no call responsibilities and exposure to a variety of cases including endoscopy, gynecology, general surgery, and urology. You will perform advanced regional anesthesia techniques such as rectus sheath blocks, QL blocks, femoral adductor canal blocks, TAP blocks, and interscalene blocks.

Northern Maine, close to the Canadian border.
Duration: 3‑6 months, ongoing, starting April
2026. New need: 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off starting June
15,2026.

Shifts:

7am–3pm. Call:
None.

Credentialing &

Special Requirements
  • Clear background/malpractice history and an active, unrestricted license.
  • Background and licensing credentialing timeframe: 60‑90 days.
  • Must have case logs proving epidurals, spinals, and blocks.
  • ACLS must be AHA.
  • EMR:
    Cerner.
  • Independent supervision model.
Requirements
  • Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board on Certification and Re‑Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
  • Valid, unrestricted RN and CRNA licenses in Maine.
  • Minimum 1‑3years of experience; proficiency in regional anesthesia.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and ability to manage anesthesia for diverse patient populations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing clinical situations and deliver optimal patient care.
  • ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification required. ACLS must be American Heart Association.
  • Applications cannot be started without a Maine license.
