Job Description- Role: RN or LPN
- Location: Gray Birch – Skilled Rehabilitation & Long‑Term Care Facility
- Schedule: Full‑time (36 hours/week)
- Shift: Nights (7p – 7a)
Sign‑on bonus: $20,000 potential for experienced nurses. Available to RNs with at least one year of nursing experience. Must commit to a minimum of 30 hours per week. Not available to current Maine General employees or former employees separated for less than one year.
What You’ll Do- Deliver compassionate patient care, ensuring that every interaction makes a difference in the lives of residents.
- Provide education, emotional support, and guidance to patients, their families, and caregivers.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on comprehensive assessment, optimizing outcomes while efficiently utilizing available resources.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referrals, and addressing spiritual/psychosocial support.
- Effectively delegate patient care to ancillary personnel, precept student nurses and new hires, and perform assigned supervisory responsibilities as needed.
- Active State of Maine RN or LPN license (or ability to obtain promptly).
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Team‑oriented with a compassionate approach to care.
- Open to all experience levels; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Compensation: Competitive pay, $20,000 sign‑on bonus for experienced nurses, shift differentials up to $7/hr for select shifts.
