Job Summary

Maine General is actively hiring an RN or LPN to join the exceptional care team at Gray Birch. This is an exciting opportunity to build meaningful relationships with residents, make a real impact every day, and work in a collaborative, supportive long‑term care environment.

  Weekends (36 hours/week)
• Shift: Nights (7p-7a)

• Weekends consist of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday or Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
• After full orientation and independent work, you will receive an $8/hour program differential for weekend hours, on top of the existing weekend, shift, and holiday differentials.
• The program differential is not received for earned time hours, education, meetings, or extra shifts.

• Deliver compassionate patient care and make a difference in the lives of residents.
• Provide education, emotional support, and guidance to patients, their families, and caregivers.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on comprehensive assessment to optimize outcomes while efficiently utilizing resources.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support.
• Effectively delegate patient care to ancillary personnel and perform supervisory responsibilities as needed.

• Active State of Maine RN license (or ability to obtain promptly).
• Self‑motivated with strong problem‑solving skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
• Open to all experience levels – new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities.
