Job Summary

Maine General is actively hiring an RN or LPN to join the exceptional care team at Gray Birch in Augusta.

  Gray Birch, Augusta
• Schedule:
  
  Weekends (36hours/week)
• Shift: Nights (7p.m. – 7a.m.)
• Program differential: $8/hour for weekend hours after orientation, on top of existing differentials.

• Deliver compassionate patient care and support residents' well‑being.
• Provide education, emotional support, and guidance to patients, their families, and caregivers.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on comprehensive assessment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate transfers, discharges, referrals, and address spiritual/psychosocial support.
• Effectively delegate patient care to ancillary personnel.
• Perform assigned supervisory responsibilities as needed.

• Active State of Maine RN license (or ability to obtain promptly). LPN licensure accepted.
• Self‑motivated with strong problem‑solving skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Open to all experience levels; new graduates encouraged.
