Overview

As a Burn Unit Registered Nurse (RN), you’ll play a vital role in the healing journey of patients with a variety of burn injuries. With stays ranging from days to weeks, you’ll build meaningful relationships and witness powerful healing journeys. Partnering with a skilled team that’s deeply committed to this unique population, you’ll restore comfort and healing—caring for patients like family and improving lives every day.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient condition and environment to recognize changes, manage pain, and ensure safety throughout their care journey.
  • Perform expert procedures and medication administration— including pain relief and fluid therapy— delivering advanced wound care and dressing changes, monitoring responses, and acting swiftly to promote healing and comfort.
  • Educate and support patients and families with compassion and clarity to confidently navigate recovery and make informed decisions.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to provide seamless, patient-centered care tailored to each individual’s needs.
Qualifications
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
