Job Summary

Med/Surg Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – 1 West Cardio Pulmonary Med/Surg unit, Alfond Center for Health, Augusta.

• Provide basic patient care under RN supervision according to scope of practice.
• Assist patients with emotional, physical, and spiritual needs.
• Greet patients and visitors; answer, screen, and route telephone calls.
• Call codes, pages, and overhead announcements as requested.
• Report abnormal findings or changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
• Help maintain unit and patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly.

36 hours per week, day shift 7:00am–7:00pm. Three 12‑hour shifts per week with rotating weekend and holiday requirements.

• Valid CNA certificate from the State of Maine.
