Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Critical Care Unit

• Provide basic patient care under RN supervision following scope of practice.
• Assist patients with emotional, physical and spiritual needs.
• Greet patients and visitors, answer telephone calls and route calls.
• Call codes, pages and overhead announcements as requested.
• Report abnormal findings or changes to nursing staff.
• Help maintain unit and patient rooms stocked, clean and orderly.

36 hours per week on the night shift (7p-7a). Three 12‑hour shifts per week with weekend and holiday rotation required.

• Certified as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) and in active good standing on the State of Maine CNA registry.
