Job Summary

We are seeking a Maternity & Pediatrics Registered Nurse (RN) for a 24‑hour per week, night shift (7p‑7a) role at the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta.

• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on assessment to optimize outcomes.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluate learning needs of patient or family and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Effectively delegate patient care to ancillary personnel.
• Precept student nurses and new hires as needed.

• Active Maine RN licensure or ability to obtain one in a timely fashion.
• At least 1 year of previous Med/Surg, Mother/Baby, LevelII, or Labor & Delivery RN experience.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.

24hours per week, night shift (7p‑7a); requires weekend, holiday, and on‑call rotation.
