Job Summary

Provides primary or acute healthcare services for certain acute or chronic health conditions in specific populations in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.

Position:
Advanced Practice Provider (APP) – Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Location:

Harold Alfond Center for Cancer Care (HACCC)

Weekly hours: 32 hours

• Obtain patient histories and perform physical examinations.
• Order and evaluate diagnostic testing and imaging.
• Make diagnoses and prescribe pharmacologic and other interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other professionals to develop and enact plans of care.
• Provide continuity and excellence in patient care through personalized visits.

• Certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) with Maine State Board of Nursing licensure.
• For NP candidates, valid state licensure.
• Experience in oncology or related acute care settings is preferred.
