Location:
Glenridge, Augusta (Valley Unit)
Schedule:
Full‑time (36 hours/week)
Shift: Days (7a-7p)
Sign‑on bonus potential up to $7,500 for experienced CNAs if you have at least one year of CNA experience, accept a minimum 30‑hour per week position, and are not a current or former Maine General employee within one year of separation.
What You’ll Do- Perform basic patient care activities within the scope of practice, assisting patients with meeting their emotional, physical, and spiritual needs.
- Greet patients and visitors and answer, screen, and route telephone calls.
- Call codes, pages, and overhead announcements as requested.
- Report abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to the nursing staff.
- Assist with keeping unit and patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly.
- Active State of Maine CNA certification.
- Prior experience working with individuals affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia is preferred.
