At Maine Veterans' Homes, our mission is simple:
Caring for Those Who Served. We are looking for a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Augusta team as a full-time Night Shift Float Nurse.

What You'll Do
  • Provide direct nursing care to our veteran residents.
  • Float between units based on staffing and resident care needs.
  • Assess residents and communicate changes in condition.
  • Administer medications and treatments.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Document care accurately and timely.
  • Support a safe, respectful, and resident-centered environment.
Schedule
  • Full-Time (36 hours per week)
  • Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
  • Three 12-hour shifts each week
  • Every other weekend and holiday rotation
What We're Looking For
  • Current Maine RN or LPN license in good standing
  • Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing unit assignments
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care
  • Long-term care experience is preferred but not required
