Responsibilities- Provides member service, maintains the checkout area, resolves member issues and concerns.
- Promotes Sam's Club products and services and provides guidance and support to members regarding self‑service technology.
- Processes member purchases, assists with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies for different membership and payment types.
- Follows company safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps.
- Follows proper procedures for handling merchandise and reports unsafe situations to facility management.
- Maintains entrance and exit areas, acknowledges members, verifies membership cards, and identifies member needs.
- Assists members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, transporting items, arranging and organizing merchandise, and maintaining a safe shopping environment.
- Maintains paperwork, logs, and other required documentation; executes emergency response procedures and ensures compliance with security and safety practices.
- Assists with training of Member Frontline Services associates on company processes, teaches new technology, delivers program rollout training, and provides continuous learning and process improvement opportunities.
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics; implements related action plans and applies the Open Door Policy.
- Completes work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners; identifies priorities and deadlines; communicates progress; determines and recommends improvement opportunities; and adapts to change, difficulties, and feedback.
- Supports a culture of belonging, teamwork, communication, integrity, customer focus, excellence, and continuous improvement.

- The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00.*
- The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
