Part-Time Retail Associate - West Washington St

Position Status

Part-Time Hourly Rate: $12.

Location:

5640 W. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46241.

The Retail Associate assists the store management team in reaching the operational goals of the site by functioning in various capacities within the retail location. Titles include Cashier, Textiles/Wares Producer, Donation Door Attendant, eCommerce Producer, e-Books Producer, and Rack or Cart Runner.

• Cashier: Rings up customer orders, maintains a balanced drawer, follows cash handling procedures, provides information on Goodwill programs, directs higher‑level questions, maintains cleanliness of the sales floor.
• Textiles or Wares Producer: Sorts product for quality, checks for holes, missing buttons, defective zippers, stains, cleans as needed, tags and hangs textiles or wares, produces 100 items per hour for wares or 85 items per hour for textiles, uses pallet jack and conveyor belt, updates production tracking sheet.
• Donation Door Attendant: Accepts donations, maintains a clean donation door, sorts and distributes products, organizes backroom, loads and unloads trucks, uses pallet jack, double stacker, floor scrubber, and hydraulic lift.
• eCommerce Producer: Identifies and secures items for Click Goodwill, monitors market value via eBay and other sites, tags and itemizes, packages, seals, ships totes, educates team on high‑ticket items.
• e-Books Producer: Scans books, decides what is shipped or displayed, prints inventory sheets, packages, seals, ships totes, identifies top sellers, manages in‑store display.
• Rack and Cart Runner: Checks racks/carts for quality and value, sizes, merchandises, purges sales floor, puts away carts, stocks shelves, runs one textile rack or wares cart every 15 minutes, updates production tracking sheet.
