Maintenance Custodian Associate

Position Summary:

As a Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club, you will ensure members experience a well-kept parking lot, clean restrooms, and safe floors. You’ll be on your feet, maintaining a clean environment, handling spills, operating equipment, and keeping positive customer interactions throughout the shift.

• Maintain a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of trash.
• Conduct safety sweeps, follow forklift spotting and hazardous material handling procedures, and report unsafe situations to Management.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are rotated, stored properly, and order replenishment when supplies are low.
• Apply Company Environmental Sustainability Program standards when using chemicals and disposing of waste.
• Maintain positive attitude and focus on member satisfaction throughout the shift.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Thrives in fast-paced environments and adapts quickly to changing work scenarios.
• Comfortable working an entire shift on feet in physically demanding environments.
• Strong work pride and dedication to member satisfaction as top priority.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for long periods.

Hourly wage range: $16.00 to $24.00. Additional premiums may apply ($0.35 to $3.00 per hour) based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
