Account Manager

We are seeking a highly capable individual for Account Manager, US Petcare Division. The role focuses on solution selling, territory management, and business planning to execute strategies that maximize sales performance within the assigned geography. The position is field‑based and requires travel, bidirectional communication with customers, and occasional evening hours for educational programs.

• Achieve overall sales quotas and key growth‑product targets through demand generation.
• Launch new products and services and generate new equipment leads.
• Consistently demonstrate solution‑selling capabilities and relevant technical knowledge, including veterinary practice expertise.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with hospitals and veterinarians to preserve and grow account relevance.
• Follow all Zoetis promotional guidelines and maintain compliance with integrity and ethical standards.
• Develop and execute a Territory Business Plan / Resource Allocation and fully utilize Zoetis resources to maximize ROI.
• Maintain required field activity levels, including sales calls and investment in medical‑education programs.
• Execute a call cycle at the account and veterinarian level that meets reach and frequency expectations.
• Collaborate with all Zoetis Petcare colleagues to meet expectations around integrity, compliance, work ethic, communication, administrative responsibilities, and teamwork.

• Undergraduate degree (BS/BA) required.
• 3‑10 years of documented consultative sales experience in animal health, including small‑animal veterinary medicine.
• Demonstrated ability to creatively identify opportunities, solve problems, and drive sales performance.
• Change‑agent mindset, continuous learner, and self‑starter who pushes self and others beyond dominant logic.
• Analytical decision‑making and tactical execution with attention to detail and follow‑through.
• Ability to manage assigned expense budgets.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn Zoetis systems.

• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Good judgment and fair decision‑making based on relevant information.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and ability to learn Zoetis systems.

• Ability and willingness to travel and work occasional evenings as required by the position.
