Inside Sales Rep

As an Inside Sales Rep, you will serve as a key customer contact and consultant at our Fluid Solutions branch, recommending solutions, quoting, selling, and fulfilling orders for equipment and services based on customer needs. You will detail rental business, process quotations, establish accounts, educate and coordinate to deliver customer satisfaction, track pickups and returns, run reports, and maintain inventory records.

• Establish an understanding of the rental business related to specialty engineered products such as electric and hydraulic pumps.
• Process rental quotations, reservations and contracts.
• Establish new rental and sales accounts by serving walk-in and call-in customers.
• Educate customers about proper equipment use.
• Coordinate with branch employees to deliver customer satisfaction.
• Track daily equipment pickups and returns.
• Run all reports necessary to monitor equipment and facilitate smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of branch assets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of fluid solutions‑related products and applications preferred.
• Strong sales and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word and Excel).
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail and diligence to safety.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Position is deemed Safety Sensitive per United Rentals’ policies.

Compensation Range: $24.05 - $36.05.
