Garda World Security Services is now hiring a Surveillance Security Officer.
What’s In It For You- Site location:
Augusta, ME – must have a valid driver’s license and clean MVR - Must have 1 year of CCTV and access control and security experience
- Set schedule:
- Saturday to Tuesday – 8:30 pm to 6:30 am
- Wednesday to Friday – 8:30 pm to 6:30 am
- Competitive hourly wage of $20.60 (Daily Pay is available for Garda World employees)

- Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
- Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
- Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
- Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
- Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
- Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
- Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Documentation of high school diploma or GED
- Pass an extensive screening process
- Strong report‑writing skills
- Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills
- Strong proficiency with technology
- Security, military, or law‑enforcement experience – even better
- State license if required
Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a background check and drug screening to be conducted after an offer of employment is extended.
