Responsible for performing construction tasks that require specialized knowledge and expertise while adhering to quality standards and safety regulations.
Essential Responsibilities:- Construct and install building frameworks such as walls, floors, door frames and other structural components.
- Install fixtures and trim such as windows, molding, cabinets, toilet accessories and other fixtures.
Skills and Abilities
Required
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Technical training or demonstrated carpentry experience.
Technical expertise: Ability to understand carpentry techniques, tools and materials; mathematical skills to measure, calculate and estimate accurately; ability to understand building plans and specifications; and ability to identify and resolve issues.
Personal Traits: Personal maturity, verbal and written communication skills, teamwork, attention to detail, flexibility, initiative, planning and organization.
Must Have- Physical strength and stamina with ability to lift 50 – 75 pounds.
- Own hand tools.
- Valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation.
