Role and Responsibilities
- Ensure safe and efficient movement of heavy materials, machinery, and structural components.
- Load Assessment and Preparation: evaluate weight, size, shape, and center of gravity to ensure stability during lifting.
- Equipment Handling and Setup: select and set up rigging equipment such as cranes, slings, pulleys, hoists, shackles, and winches.
- Rigging System Assembly: configure lifting systems to balance loads and prevent accidents.
- Safety Compliance: follow stringent safety protocols, inspect equipment, and coordinate with team members to prevent hazards.

guide crane operators and other personnel during lifts to ensure precise placement of materials. - All crafts expected to work with other crafts when needed.
Rigging is essential for handling materials that are too heavy or awkward to move manually, such as steel beams, concrete panels, HVAC systems, and large machinery. Skilled riggers keep projects on schedule while minimizing the risk of accidents or damage to equipment and materials.
