Job Summary:

This on-site/in-building position is responsible for assisting with general maintenance projects in our 200,000 sq ft facility located in Augusta, Maine and will directly report to our Facilities Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Perform maintenance, service and repair to our refrigeration system, HVAC, Dock Doors, Loading Plates and Material Handling Equipment

* Assists with general construction, plumbing, electrical and painting projects

* Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment

* Must be proficient with Computers, ability to read blueprints and have basic math skills

* Able to respond to off hours emergencies when necessary

* Responsible for maintenance of warehouse racking

* Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

* High School Diploma or Equivalent

* 6-12 months maintenance experience

* Mechanically inclined to fix dock plates, garage doors, pallet jacks and operate industrial tools

* Ability to do general carpentry repairs and painting of walls, ceilings, flooring, etc.

* Computer skills to work with PO's, work orders, read blueprints and process flows

* Must be able to use ladders, powered lifts

* Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs occasionally and lesser weight regularly

Preferred Qualifications

* 1 year+ maintenance experience

* Electrical experience

* Safety background/OSHA specific training

* HVAC experience

* Welding experience

* Experience running a team or project to a successful completion
