Concrete Laborer – Augusta, ME

Pay: $23–$26 per hour, DOE Long-term, year-round work

Skilled Trades Partners is looking for a reliable and hardworking Concrete Laborer to join our team for a long-term, year-round opportunity in Augusta, Maine.

Job Duties
  • Assist with the preparation and setup of concrete forms and molds.
  • Mix, pour, and spread concrete using hand tools and power equipment.
  • Level and smooth concrete using screeds, trowels, floats, and other tools.
  • Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure concrete surfaces.
  • Remove forms after concrete has set and clean work areas.
  • Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from trucks.
  • Follow all OSHA and job-site safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the foreman or supervisor.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in concrete or general construction is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to follow directions.
  • Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
  • Dependable attendance and commitment to job-site safety.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience finishing concrete surfaces.
  • Knowledge of form setting and rebar installation.
  • OSHA certification is a plus.
