Job Summary
Provides spiritual care to patients, their family members and organizational staff experiencing challenge or crisis. The role includes performing spiritual care visits, public worship services, and outreach services in assigned areas or to specific faith groups as requested.
Responsibilities- Perform spiritual care visits, public worship services and outreach services in assigned areas or to specific faith groups as needed/requested.
- Assess and respond to the spiritual and emotional needs of patients, families and staff, including crisis intervention and bereavement support.
- Participate in an interdisciplinary approach to spiritual care and patient health.
- Document visits and interventions in compliance with the organization’s standards.
- Maintain scheduled weekly hours of 30 hours per week.
- The position is non‑exempt.
