Family Violence Project seeks an advocate to provide direct services to residents of our Kennebec County emergency domestic violence shelter. The Shelter Advocate guides and supports residents and their children, participates in admissions, and orients new residents.
They will conduct needs assessments, help develop goals, and maintain records and reporting. The role requires teamwork, crisis intervention, and strong communication in a fast-paced shelter setting.
