The Opportunity

As a Salesforce developer, you will work closely with other developers, product owners, test engineers, and architects to ensure the timely and effective delivery of Salesforce requirements in a variety of industry contexts. You'll work in all aspects of the Salesforce development lifecycle, including configuration, customization, and implementation of applications and 3rd party integrations. You’ll also serve as an advisor to our clients and provide guidance regarding how they might adopt new technologies or add new features to support the mission.

In this role, you’ll have an impact from day one. You'll apply extensive experience developing on the Salesforce platform following best practices and utilizing Salesforce declarative capabilities where appropriate. Your ability to build positive relationships with other team members, write clean and maintainable Apex code while keeping governor limits in mind, experience with web development technologies like Lightning Web Components, knowledge of the Salesforce platform’s declarative capabilities, and ability to mentor and grow junior team members will be key.

You will advise our government clients on the best ways to improve and modernize existing systems.

• Experience with Salesforce platform development, including Apex, JavaScript, and Lightning Web Components
• Experience committing code and metadata to Git repositories
• Knowledge of the Salesforce development lifecycle
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
• HS diploma or GED
• Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification

• Experience with federal government or healthcare IT
• Experience with Salesforce Dev Ops technologies and tools, including Git Hub, Copado, Salesforce DX, and Flosum
• Experience with Java, Python, C#, Kotlin, C/C++, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent client-facing skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or CS
• Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification

Salary range: $69,400.00 to $ (annualized USD). Additional benefits include health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work‑life programs, and dependent care. Full‑time and part‑time employees working at least 20 hours a week are eligible for benefit programs.

Remote: occasional on‑site work at Booz Allen or customer facilities.

Hybrid: work from Booz Allen facility frequently, may also visit customer facility.

Onsite: primarily performed at Booz Allen office or customer facility.
