OVERVIEW

The Department of Administrative and Financial Services (DAFS) Office of Information Technology (MaineIT) provides information technology support to over 13,000 employees. MaineIT oversees large scale enterprise applications that support the critical and diverse business needs of the State of Maine and its agencies.

JOB DETAILS

As a Power Platform Senior Programmer Analyst with the MaineIT Application Development Group, you will be part of the Microsoft Power Platform and MS Dynamics team for the Department of Administration and Financial Services.

This role is the highest technical level in all phases of applications systems analysis and design activities. The most important aspects of this work are the application of system analysis skills to formulate solutions to complex business problems using automation technologies and preparing system design plans and detailed specifications to facilitate the development and implementation of application systems. Oversite of daily support activities and other development work may be required.

Work is performed under limited supervision. This position is located in Augusta, Maine.

  • Support platform maturity and integration of application lifecycle management within the Power Platform – environments, solutions, automation and delivery.
  • Design, develop, and implement solutions using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Lead the development of scalable and reusable components within Dataverse.
  • Develop integrations between Dynamics, Power Platform, and external systems using APIs and Azure services.
  • Establish and enforce best practices for architecture, governance, and Dev Sec Ops .
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
  • Develop, design, and implement automated applications built upon the Low Code technologies.
  • Design, code, test, deploy, maintain, enhance, and support software systems.
  • Produce designs and other technical documentation.
