Senior Manager, Software Engineering

Managers at any level can have significant technical and business impact.

• Own the vision and execution of software design and development for major components of Oracle’s Health and AI platform.
• Collaborate with product management, architecture, cloud operations, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver reliable, secure, and high-quality solutions for enterprise-scale applications and developer platforms.
• Mentor teams, build scalable engineering processes, and contribute to Agile delivery practices.
• Demonstrate technical depth, architectural know-how, and the ability to dive deep into any part of the stack and low-level systems while maintaining a focus on simplicity and scalability.
• Work in a collaborative, agile environment and contribute to a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
• Operate in a greenfield development environment with a high degree of autonomy to innovate without legacy constraints.
• Design and build highly scalable ingestion systems that can consume, filter, and transport large volumes of events from cloud services to customers, enabling action at scale.

• Strong leadership experience in software engineering, with a track record of delivering distributed systems and platform development.
• Experience with Agile delivery, mentoring, and building scalable engineering processes.
• Deep technical depth and the ability to work across the stack, from architecture to low-level systems.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to partner with product, architecture, and operations teams.

This role focuses on greenfield development with autonomy and rapid innovation, enabling the construction of a highly scalable ingestion system that processes large volumes of events generated by cloud services for customer use.
