Lead Principal Platform Software Engineer

Overview

Our team’s primary product: an AI harness and toolkit designed to help GIU partners develop, integrate, and deliver AI-powered application experiences. The platform provides reusable capabilities, patterns, and tooling that make it easier for teams to adopt AI while maintaining enterprise standards for quality, reliability, security, and maintainability.

• Serve as a senior technical architect driving design decisions across platform services, developer experience, AI integrations, evaluation workflows, and application enablement.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and partner teams to translate emerging AI needs into durable platform capabilities.
• Lead through technical influence, mentor senior engineers, and help establish standards for AI-enabled applications across GIU.

• Deep platform engineering expertise and strong architectural judgment.
• Practical experience applying AI and LLM technologies in production environments.
• Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-moving technical domains and to translate needs into scalable implementation patterns.
• Hands-on engineering depth with broad systems thinking.
• Strong frontend knowledge preferred:
  JavaScript, Type Script, Node.js.
