Overview
Compensation Pay Range: $15.10 - $19.50 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance premiums, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.
Essential Job Functions- Drive company vehicle to deliver parts and products to O’Reilly stores and distribution center.
- Maintain city route manifest for deliveries and pick up and sign for stock transfers.
- Keep fleet/fuel card, vehicle and keys secure; lock vehicle and secure keys at end of day.
- Check fluid levels (oil, radiator, transmission, etc.) and log mileage prior to driving.
- Report vehicle maintenance needs to store manager. Report delays to city delivery supervisor or remaining stores on route.
- Ensure invoices are verified and route manifest signed by designated team member at each store.
- Adhere to accident report guidelines and maintain a safe and defensive driving record per the company’s 14/18-point system.
- Clock in/out according to company policy.
- Project a professional and personable image and communicate any problems or special needs from stores to store management.
- Legal required state driver’s license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
- Good interpersonal communication skills.
- Adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company’s 14/18-point system.
- Fluency in multiple languages is desired (Spanish highly desired).
