Pay: $20.50/hour, possibly more based on experience.
Work week:
Tuesday - Saturday.

This driver role is responsible for operating a straight truck or van intrastate and/or interstate on local routes to deliver and unload various food and food‑related products to customers. The driver handles urgent orders, mispicks, and other customer service issues, ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and in accordance with company policies and Department of Transportation regulations. The driver communicates professionally with customers, vendors, and coworkers, ensuring all services and duties are executed in line with preferred work methods and customer service practices.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Perform all required safety checks (pre‑ and post‑trip) and inspections of truck/van and trailer per DOT regulations, reporting any safety issues or required repairs.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safe‑driving guidelines, reporting any safety hazards promptly.
- Inspect truck/van for proper loading and secured freight, perform item counts, verify customer invoices, and complete required paperwork accurately.
- Drive to and deliver customer orders according to the assigned schedule.
- Unload products from truck/van, transport items to designated customer storage areas, perform damage‑control checks, scan goods, and report conditions to the supervisor as needed.
- Verify delivery of items with customers and obtain proper signatures; collect payment when required.
- Load customer returns onto trailer, secure trailer doors, and ensure all freight is locked and secured.
- Complete daily records of hours of service and enter logs per Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.
- Perform general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area, keeping trailers clear and clean. At shift end, secure all equipment and complete necessary paperwork.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 12+ months of driving experience.
- Valid non‑commercial driver’s license.
- Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements where applicable.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years.
- Pass pre‑employment drug test.
- Pass road test.
- Ability to hand‑lift and use two‑wheeler, lift gate, and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight ranging from approximately 60 to 90 pounds.
Up to $24.00/hour starting pay.
