Position: Emergency Safety Coordinator in Hybrid Setting
Elevate safety standards as an Emergency Preparedness and Health and Safety Coordinator with CHATS. This role, covering maternity leave, offers a hybrid work model focused on compliance and proactive safety management.

In this position, reporting to the Vice President, you'll develop emergency preparedness programs and ensure all safety regulations are met. You'll lead safety assessments, deliver employee training, and coordinate with emergency services. Building a culture of preparedness is crucial, making your leadership essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute emergency drills and coordinate follow-up actions

• Perform safety audits and hazard assessments

• Drive training initiatives for emergency protocols

• Serve as the main contact during health emergencies

• Partner with leadership to enhance safety culture

Requirements:

• Certificate or degree in a relevant field

• 2+ years in emergency planning/security

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to deliver effective training sessions

• Valid Ontario Driver's License required
