Help bring to life 'The Children Trap,' an 8-minute short film that dives into family dynamics. Seeking local talent for unpaid volunteer roles in this notable project.
This production is part of the 2026 Unsung Voices program at Reel Asian. The film depicts two sisters ingeniously plotting their parents’ divorce to recover stability eduled shooting will occur on July 11th and 12th, 2026, in Aurora, Ontario, and the premiere will take place at TIFF Lightbox in November 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
• Play key roles that contribute to the narrative
• Interact and collaborate with cast and crew members
• Participate in pre-production practice sessions
• Attend all filming days on July 11th and 12th
• Help enhance the storytelling through acting
Requirements:
• Local talent based in Aurora, ON, only
• Submit a headshot or recent photo
• Provide a resume or self-tape if applicable
• Willingness to volunteer for the project duration
