The ideal candidate will join our team at Magna to oversee payroll tax compliance and manage garnishments. This role involves ensuring timely tax remittance and adhering to federal, state, and local regulations. You will collaborate with various teams to streamline payroll processes and maintain accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
• Report and remit local and federal payroll taxes
• Monitor compliance with tax deadlines and regulations
• Prepare for and support payroll audits
• Coordinate with HRIS and IT for system improvements
• Reconcile payroll reports and financial statements
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• At least 3 years of payroll industry experience
• Deep knowledge of tax laws
• Skilled in Ceridian Dayforce
• Strong problem-solving capabilities
