As Assistant Controller, you will lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes, preparing detailed financial reports.

Your role will involve managing intercompany transactions, overseeing compliance with GST/HST regulations, and coordinating audits. Collaborating with cross-functional teams will be essential for driving improvements and resolving accounting challenges effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial close and reporting processes

• Ensure accuracy in cost accounting and inventory management

• Prepare corporate tax returns and working papers

• Manage accounts payable operations and audits

• Support internal audits and control measures

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant financial experience

• Thorough knowledge of IFRS and cost accounting

• Track record of effective cross-functional collaboration

• Strong communicative and leadership capabilities

• Background in mentoring new employees
