As a CUPE 1571 Permanent Licensed Maintenance Worker - HVAC, you will work under the Maintenance Coordinator to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain systems at Board sites. Strong knowledge of regulations and five years of experience are essential for success in this role, alongside a valid Ontario driver's license and relevant certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems across school buildings
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep accurate maintenance records
• Install and inspect various HVAC equipment
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and standards
• Carry out additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent
• 313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic certification
• Minimum five years' experience in HVAC work
• Class G Ontario Driver's License in good standing
• Knowledgeable in building automation systems preferred
