About the roleThis position is a mix of:
- Outsourced accounting for small business clients (monthly close, maintaining clean books, supporting client needs)
- Tax compliance and planning support (quarterly estimates, projections, light planning with opportunity for more)

We’re creating this role so the owner (CPA) can delegate more day-to-day work and help the team scale.
What you’ll do- Manage and review complex federal and state tax returns for real estate-focused clients, including partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, and high-net-worth individuals
- Seekout (or at least document opportunities) to streamline tasks using automation and AI
- Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for assigned clients
- Research and resolve complex tax issues and clearly communicate recommendations
- Lead, mentor, and develop tax staff and managers; review work and provide guidance
- Oversee engagement planning, budgeting, and scheduling to ensure timely delivery
- Stay current on tax law changes impacting real estate and investment clients
- Contribute to firm initiatives, process improvements, and business development efforts
- 7-9+ years of accounting and tax experience: including working knowledge of financial statements and business/personal income taxation, CPA/EA required

- Annual salary range = $110,000 - $140,000 + performance-based bonuses
