Controller - Manufacturing Industry - Denver, CO
Who: A fast-growing clean energy company is seeking its first dedicated accounting leader to build and scale the accounting function.
What:
The Controller will own financial reporting, ERP implementation, audit readiness, internal controls, and day-to-day accounting operations.

Salary: $200,000 - $225,000 plus equity, benefits, and 401(k).
Position Overview:
A rapidly growing energy company is hiring a Controller to lead accounting operations and establish scalable financial infrastructure. This role will oversee close processes, financial reporting, ERP implementation, audit preparation, internal controls, inventory and project accounting, while helping build a high-performing accounting team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own monthly close, financial reporting, AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, and GAAP compliance.
• Lead ERP implementation and improve accounting systems, controls, and processes.
• Support audit readiness, inventory accounting, capital projects, and fixed assets.
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, engineering, and leadership teams.
• Build scalable accounting infrastructure and help grow the finance team over time.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and CPA required.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience in a high-growth environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, audits, ERP systems, and internal controls.
• Experience with manufacturing, clean energy, inventory, or project accounting preferred.
• Hands-on leadership style with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
