Manager, Accounting

The salary range for this position is $105,000 – 125,000 DOE including bonus opportunity under the Karcher Incentive Program.

• Lead & Develop: Manage and supervise the Kärcher North America (KNA) GL Accounting Team, establishing individual development plans and communicating clear job expectations.
• Financial Oversight: Oversee month-end close requirements and review/approve journal entries to ensure strong internal controls and compliance with company policies.
• Analysis & Reporting: Perform in-depth financial statement analysis, conduct monthly balance sheet reviews, and manage year-end financial statement audits with external auditors.

  Act as a liaison with Kärcher Group Accounting and global subsidiaries on accounting matters, intercompany reconciliations, and HBII reporting packages.
• Process Optimization: Continually streamline accounting systems and processes through continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiencies, growth, and accuracy.

• Education & Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting paired with approximately ten years of progressive accounting experience.
• Technical Expertise: A strong working knowledge of US GAAP and hands‑on experience navigating SAP systems.
• Industry Background: Previous accounting experience within the manufacturing industry.
