Collections Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a leading company to fill their open Collections Specialist job in Aurora, CO. To qualify, you must have at least 3 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role. This is a direct hire job opportunity where you will earn between $26.00 and $30.00 per hour. You will also be eligible for this company's competitive benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring a portfolio of customer accounts and following up on past due payments
• Researching and resolving payment discrepancies
• Providing excellent internal and external customer service
• Running aging reports
• Negotiating payment plans and settlements
• Documenting all collection activities in the database
• Maintaining compliance with all company collections policies and procedures
• All other related tasks as required

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Previous experience with Sage, Quick Books, SAP, or similar accounting software required

Compensation:

• Hourly rate between $26.00 and $30.00
