Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week
Schedule: Flexible; ideally 4 hours per day across multiple days per week
Pay: $22-$27/hour

Our client in Centennial, CO is seeking a reliable Part-Time Accounting Specialist to provide support to their accounting team. The ideal candidate does not need extensive accounting experience but should have some familiarity with basic accounting processes and be comfortable learning new systems.

• Process and apply daily cash receipts to the appropriate customer accounts.
• Research and resolve discrepancies related to customer payments.
• Enter Accounts Payable invoices received through email into the company's ERP system.
• Review invoice information for accuracy and ensure invoices are properly entered for payment.
• Assist with basic account reconciliations and other accounting tasks as needed.
• Learn and navigate the client's internal accounting systems and processes.
• Maintain accuracy and organization while managing recurring accounting processes.

• Previous Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and processes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to learn new accounting systems and processes quickly.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Accounting degree not required.
• Open to entry-level candidates with relevant accounting coursework or exposure.
