Job Summary:
The Dept of Obstetrics and Gynecology has an opening for a full-time Business Services Professional position. This position serves as the primary representative of the Department's Director of Finance & Administration and its Vice Chairs. Position provides all aspects of administrative support to the Director of Finance & Administration & Vice Chairs of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology for various Department, University, National and International administrative/leadership activities.
Position maintains the Director's & Vice Chair's appointment calendars and manages general administrative work.
Applicants should have a demonstrated track record of extreme professionalism and the ability to handle sensitive matters with complete discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
* This position must be able to manage scheduling for the Director of Finance & Administration & Vice Chair's various activities and manage multiple priorities independently.
* Position organizes departmental administrative processes related to Vice Chair duties.
* Develop & manage Departmental processes and resources for activities related to Vice Chair duties and Departmental administration (i.e.
-Access & Engagement, Quality & Clinical Affairs, Faculty Affairs & Professional Development, etc.)
* * Serves as back up to the Administrative Assistant to the Chair in their absence.
* Must be able to exhibit extreme discretion when handling highly sensitive, confidential issues.
Work Location:
Hybrid - this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 4 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings. May move to 5 days a week in person

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
* Two (2) years of professional experience in supporting business operations and administration.
* Substitution: A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.
* Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in administrative support duties: calendar management, travel arrangements, expense report, etc.
* Experience implementing organizational processes & documentation.
* Experience using MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, etc.).
* Experience with project management or process improvement.
Conditions of Employment:
* Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship. We are unable to provide work visa sponsorship or employment authorization for this position now or in the future.
* Office work environment with hybrid work schedule of 4 days in person with option to move to full 5 days in person should business needs require.
