This position will specifically work in the Nurse Liaison Program, a nurse home visiting program, delivered in partnership with the Arapahoe County Department of Human Services. This position will provide administrative coordination and support to a team of four nurse home visitors. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF JOB:
Under general supervision, the Administrative Coordinator performs a variety of complex technical, clerical, and administrative duties in support of the Nurse Liaison Program as a member of the Nurse Liaison team. This position requires the ability to multi-task, plan an organized work schedule, effectively use computers and departmental software, and perform daily administrative tasks efficiently and productively. DUTIES:
- Performs overall administrative duties to support the program and the management team, including scheduling meetings, setting agendas, completing meeting minutes, publishing program communication reports, managing distribution lists, managing translation requests and ordering supplies
- Referral and billing administrator for the program, which includes monitoring and tracking incoming child abuse and neglect referrals, establishing a timeline for referral nurse assignments, data entry in CureMD, and grant reporting on referral measures
- Primary Qualtrics Administrator for the program
- Program liaison to other divisions withing the agency and the Department of Human Services
- Primary point of contact for record retention and assist with elevated medical record requests for the program
- Primary program contact for community partner outreach, including updating information in the resource directory software system, scheduling tours, educating nursing staff on community referral pathways and facilitating solutions to referral access barriers
- Track professional development, licensure, and certification status of program staff, including identifying training opportunities for program staff
- Serve as program expert on the electronic medical record, CureMD, including onboarding new staff and updating user training guides
Emergency Preparedness and Response - Responds, as required, to support public health emergencies, incidents, and events. Employee participates in all exercises and drills on emergency preparedness and response, as required. Completes trainings identified as appropriate for this level employee and initiates corrective actions and responses pursuant to Federal, State, and Local laws, statutes, and regulations.

Competencies:
- Broad knowledge of division and department operations and policy
- Ability to maintain a high level of discretion and manage confidential information and sensitive client/employee issues
- Thorough knowledge of basic office methods and procedures, spelling, punctuation, and grammar
- Ability to operate routine software and business applications, including but not limited to word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
- Ability to prepare correspondence on routine matters, perform routine office management skills independently, and communicate effectively and follow instructions in both written and verbal English
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, co-workers, and the public and maintain a professional demeanor at all times

- 3+ years of administrative experience; with government and/or public health experience included
