The Division of Cardiology is seeking a creative, collaborative, and highly organized professional to serve as a Fellowship Administrator supporting multiple fellowship training programs, including Adult Congenital Heart Disease, Advanced Heart Failure, and Cardiovascular Disease. This position will play a key role in the oversight and administration of the fellowship programs, partnering closely with program leadership, the fellowship education team, fellows, faculty, and institutional partners to ensure high-quality educational experiences and effective program operations.
The person in this role will have opportunities to take ownership of projects and processes that support program quality, compliance, recruitment, and fellow education while developing expertise in graduate medical education, program administration, event coordination, and process improvement.
- Primary program administrator for ACHD and Advanced Heart Failure Fellowships, with support for Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship, partnering with program leadership to ensure effective program operations and accreditation compliance.
- Coordinate or manage fellowship activities including recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and offboarding.
- Recruitment activities include but are not limited to applicant tracking, interview coordination, ranking processes, candidate communications and creation/maintenance of recruitment materials
- Oversee educational programming including Cardiology Grand Rounds, invited lectureships, and fellow conferences.
- Support or oversee program operations including clinical scheduling, procurement, and reimbursements.
- Develop and implement process improvements and special projects that enhance program efficiency and the fellow experience.
Hybrid - this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.

Specifically, the Cardiovascular Disease fellowship training program aims to prepare trainees for careers as academic thought leaders. To achieve this, we provide exposure to and engagement with all aspects of contemporary cardiology and cardiac subspecialties at three complementary clinical sites: UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital, Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center, and Denver Health.
