Overview

Automotive Production Technician (ASE / Master / Diagnostic Level)

Compensation:
Based on experience & performance

Our technicians earn $50,000 – $168,000 annually

(Pay determined by experience, production, and ASE certifications)

About the Role

Smoky Hill Auto Service is alocally owned, high-volume automotive repair facility with a loyal customer base and a strong reputation in the South Metro area. Business is strong, and we are growing. We are seeking afocused, highly skilled Production Technician who is confident in their abilities and can consistently flag a minimum of 60 hours per weekwhile maintaining quality, safety, and professionalism. This position is ideal for a technician who is production-driven, efficient, and takes pride in both performance and craftsmanship.

This is not an entry-level or training-heavy role.

Schedule & Work-Life Balance
  • Monday–Friday
  • 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair major vehicle systems on cars, trucks, and SUVs (Imports & Diesel Also)
  • Perform maintenance, inspections, and mechanical repairs
  • Work efficiently in a high-volume environment
  • Communicate clearly with service advisors and management
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area
Performance Expectations
  • Ability to consistently flag 60+ hours per week
  • Strong diagnostic and repair efficiency
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • High standards for workmanship and safety
  • Production-focused mindset without sacrificing quality
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an automotive technician in a production environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of vehicle systems
  • ASE certifications preferred (we pay for testing and training)
  • Team-oriented, goal-driven, and self-motivated
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Own tools preferred
