Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Financial Compliance
Position: Manager, Contracts (contingent upon contract award of submitted pursuits) – Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) strategic business unit.
Location: Aurora, Colorado, USA.
Security Clearance: Must possess an active, transferable U.S. government‑issued clearance (TS/SCI) and U.S. citizenship. Clearance must be current on day one.
Salary: $107,500 – $204,500 USD. Sign‑on bonus offered.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with Portfolio Directors, Program Managers, Chief Engineers, Business/Estimating, and Supply Chain to manage successful execution of contracts.
- Provide guidance on contractual and business issues, advising management of contractual rights and obligations and mitigating contractual/program risks.
- Act as key contributor during pre‑proposal strategy, proposal development, negotiation, and execution phases, including preparation of bids, contract management, and compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
- Analyze Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Broad Agency Announcements (BAAs).
- Work within cross‑functional teams to construct, submit, and negotiate Terms and Conditions and pricing proposals.
- Negotiate and execute contracts.
- Support program management and execution reviews.
- Work independently in a fast‑paced, multitask environment.
- Develop effective partnerships with customers and internal teams.
- Minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience with a university degree or equivalent, or minimum 5 years with an advanced degree in a related field.
- At least 5 years experience specifically with contracts.
- Experience with U.S. Government contracts under FAR and/or DFARS.
- Experience with contract types:
Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Fixed Price Incentive Fee (FPIF), Cost‑Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), and Cost‑Plus Award Fee (CPAF). - Demonstrated ability to develop effective relationships with customers and internal partners based on teamwork and trust.
