Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Financial Compliance
Security Clearance
U.S. citizenship is required. A TS/SCI security clearance with an active status must be obtained prior to the start date. Existing clearances must be active on day 1 of employment.
What You Will Do- Work closely with the Portfolio Directors, Program Managers, Chief Engineers, Business/Estimating, and Supply Chain to manage successful execution of contracts.
- Provide guidance regarding contractual and business issues, advising management of contractual rights and obligations as well as mitigating contractual and program risks.
- Contribute as a key participant during pre‑proposal strategy, proposal development, negotiation, and execution phases, including the preparation of bids and ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
- Analyze Requests for Proposals (RFP), Requests for Information (RFI), and Broad Agency Announcements (BAA).
- Collaborate within cross‑functional teams to construct, submit, and negotiate terms and conditions and pricing proposals.
- Negotiate and execute contracts.
- Support program management and execution reviews.
- Work independently in a fast‑paced, multitask environment.
- Develop effective partnerships with customers and internal teams.
- Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience specifically with contracts.
- Experience with U.S. Government contracts under the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and/or the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS).
- Experience with Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Fixed Price Incentive Fee (FPIF), Cost‑Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), and Cost‑Plus Award Fee (CPAF) contract types.
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective relationships with customers and internal partners based on understanding, teamwork, and trust.
- Professional, effective written and verbal communication skills to interface with all levels of internal and external customers; thorough analytical skills; excellent interpersonal skills; adaptability to a variety of business situations.
- Experience working in a dynamic environment and ability to multitask across multiple programs with a record of responsiveness and excellent time management and organization.
- Salary range: $107,500 – $204,500 USD.
