The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.

The University of Colorado Anschutz is seeking a temp-to-hire full-time Document Control Specialist (Research Services Entry Professional) to join the Gates Institute Biomanufacturing Facility (GBF) in Aurora, CO. GBF is an academic Phase I cGMP contract manufacturing facility dedicated to the development and manufacture of novel biologics and cell therapies for early-phase clinical trials and serves as a core capability that differentiates the University in both regenerative medicine and traditional biotechnology.

Within this dynamic environment, step into a role where you become the backbone of our documentation system. The Document Control Specialist will centralize and own day-to-day document control activities and bring structure, consistency, and clarity to how critical information is managed across the department. Routine batch printing including ad hoc print requests Batch label printing and reconciliation Logbook review, finalization, and reconciliation Data scanning and uploading to the eQMS Document filing, storage, archiving, and recalling Organize and manage the Document Control room Support eQMS requests (e.g., issuing document names and numbers)

Bachelor's degree in scientific discipline or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. Experience supporting document control activities within a cGMP or other regulated environment (e.g., biotech, pharmaceutical, or medical device) Familiarity with electronic quality management systems (eQMS) and document lifecycle processes, including version control, change control, and archival within a GMP framework Strong technical writing skills, with experience drafting and editing controlled documents such as SOPs, Work Instructions (WIs), and forms Demonstrated attention to detail and a strong quality-focused mindset Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information Highly self-motivated and organized, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Strong English verbal and written communication skills required, with the ability to accurately read, interpret, and produce technical documentation.
