The Flooring Estimator’s primary responsibility is to gather, assess, and estimate the cost of flooring projects.

• Prepare proposals and communicate with vendors for pricing.
• Create templates for jobs.
• Perform take‑offs and prepare proposals using estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
• Receive requests for estimating and gather necessary information such as plans, specifications, bid manuals, change orders and revisions to projects in progress.
• Work independently, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

• High School diploma, or 3+ years equivalent work experience.
• Proficient Excel experience is a must.
• Must enjoy working with numbers.
• Industry experience is a plus.
• Analytical thinker.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Positive attitude.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to multitask, work with limited supervision, and meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with colleagues and team members to ensure effective communication and coordination of tasks; support a positive and productive work environment.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
