JOBSUMMARY
The Flooring Estimators primary responsibility would be to gather, assess and estimate the cost of flooring projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Preparing proposals, along with communicating to our vendors for pricing.
- Create templates for jobs.
- Perform take offs and prepare proposals using estimating software and Microsoft excel.
- Receive requests for estimating and gather necessary information such as plans, specifications, bid manuals, change orders and revisions to projects in progress.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Regular and reliable attendance.

Required Qualifications- High School diploma, or 3+ years equivalent work experience
- Proficient Excel experience a must.
- Must love working with numbers.
- Industry experience a plus.
- Analytical thinker.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Positive Attitude.
- Self-Motivated and ability to multitask, work with limited supervision and meet deadlines.
