Internship Overview

As a leading electrical contractor, we’ll give you an insider’s look into the industry through real-world experience on active projects. You’ll get to see how different teams collaborate to bring complex projects to life, build practical and professional skills, and learn directly from industry pros in the field and office.
Role Overview
As a Construction Management intern, you’ll be a true extension of our project teams, getting hands‑on exposure across the entire lifecycle of a project, from early preconstruction and estimating all the way to active job sites.
Because our program is tailored to your goals, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the areas of construction that excite you most. Whether you want to dive deep into bid strategies, learn how to manage subcontractors, or participate in safety and site inspections, you’ll work alongside experienced project managers and estimators on projects that make a real impact.
What You'll DoKey Responsibilities
Project Planning & Preconstruction
- Assist with real project planning, helping define project scopes, milestone goals, and deliverable timelines.
- Support preconstruction and estimating teams by organizing data for bid strategies, cost forecasting, and resource planning.
- Research and evaluate pricing for materials, specialized equipment, and subcontractor services to keep bids competitive and accurate.
Field Experience & Site Operations
- Participate in active site visits, job walks, and pre‑bid meetings to gather critical project details directly from the field.
- Conduct site inspections alongside safety leads to ensure active jobs maintain high safety standards.
Tech & Process Management
- Gain exposure to project management software, getting practical experience with Procore, MS Project, Accubid, and Change Order Pro.
- Collaborate across preconstruction and field teams to streamline data workflows and simplify reporting.
Additional duties as assigned.
